SO AS YOU MAY KNOW IF YOU PAYED A LOT OF ATTENTION TO ONE OF MY PREVIOUS POSTS, i’ve a coding buddy named charlie. i dont allow him into most my codebases. not because my code sucks, but because each time i do, without fail, he does something crazy. whether that be replace all the semicolons with a greek question mark, “optimise” code by shrinking it to (nearly, istg I SHOULDNTVE TAUGHT HIM HOW TO SHRINK THINGS IN PYTHON NOW NOTHING MAKES ANY SENSE) one line, or just the old trick of deleting a few files. so today i invited him to my new c++ codebase (eh it aint really new i just abandoned it, and also its not like a github repo its just files i shared using atom’s liveshare feature) to see just how much he can mess it up, then i left to eat to give him free reign because frankly i kinda hate myself!
came back to a message on discord: “i just pasted c into a c++ file” and i think okay, he probably just rewrote the actual code in c and pasted it into the c++ file. that’d require too much effort though. the main file had just the letter c in it.
yes this is STILL suriya wow yes the introvert kid made friends SURPRISING shut up.
